Six vice presidential bets will meet one another at University of Santo Tomas in Manila on Sunday, April 10, at 5 p.m. local time for the first and only vice presidential debate of the 2016 election. Senators Alan Peter Cayetano, Francis “Chiz” Escudero, Gregorio “Gringo” Honasan, Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., Antonio Trillanes IV, and Camarines Sur Rep. Ma. Leonor “Leni” Robredo have confirmed their participation at the only debate for vice presidential bets.

Moderators of the debate are veteran journalists Pia Hontiveros and Pinky Webb. Pre and post-debate programs scheduled at 4:00 and 7:30 PM, respectively will be anchored by Amelyn Veloso.

The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) said the debate will focus on corruption, poverty, political dynasties, human rights, peace and order, traffic and other urban problems, connectivity and foreign policy.

INQUIRER.net said that the event, organized by CNN Philippines, will be held at the Quadricentennial Pavillion of the University of Santo Tomas from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
