The people of Tuguegarao City are waiting for the outcome of Monday’s Tuguegarao City Barangay Elections 2013. Results for the October 28, 2013 Barangay Election are out after poll workers finished counting the ballots manually in 1 to 2 days.

The City of Tuguegarao is the capital city of the Province of Cagayan. The city is also the regional capital and the center for education, culture, and economy of the Cagayan Valley Region (Region II) with its healthy commerce and trade activities.

Also known as “The Country’s Premier Ibanag City”, Tuguegarao City is part of the 3rd Congressional District of Cagayan. It has an aggregate area of 144.80 square kilometers (55.91 sq mi). According to the 2010 NSCB census, the city has a total population of 138,865 people.
